First meeting of the TAMU WIA chapter. With help from the Texas companies Powerhouse Animation and Rooster Teeth, we were able to give free WIA memberships to our first 50 members. Now we are proud to be a chapter with over 70 members.

At SIGGRAPH 2019: Thrive, I was apart of a panel for the Women in Animation Summit. The panel discussion was “Building WIA Chapters: Vancouver, NYC, Montreal and More”. This panel comprised a discussion with leaders from across the U.S. and Canada about how they formed their local chapters, their local mission and how it supports the drive to 50/50 by 2025.

In Fall of 2018, our chapter held a panel with 8 women from the industry. We wanted to have a conversation that went beyond Demo Reels and how to get a job. I served as the moderator for this panel.
